Our History
Our mission is to be a true leader in shifting the way dementia related behaviours are managed by both professional and family caregivers.
We do that by supporting families who are caring for someone affected by dementia through 1-1 meetings or groups. We also provide certificate education to frontline professional caregivers to help them build confidence and success in their role. Our purpose is to move away from the old medical and task-focused model towards a new way of doing things, based on compassionate person-centred care that results in more harmony and quality of life for all those affected by dementia and their caregivers.

We believe dementia care education is essential to provide the best and most effective care possible. Until a cure for dementia is found, Dementia Solutions will continue to educate, model, inspire, create ripples of like-minded, like-hearted individuals who share our vision of challenging the status quo in dementia care; so that people living with dementia not only stay safe but also, as much as we can, work with them so they can enjoy a full and optimum quality of life.
We regularly provide several educational courses, books, apps, no-cost talks for non-profit organizations, live monthly consultations, and helpful guides for families, caregivers, and care homes all across Canada.
